Co-development agreement with Iberdrola S.A. for five offshore wind energy projects in the Philippines with up to 3.5 GW total capacity
In January 2022, Stream Invest Holding AG (shareholder of CE-Group) together with its partner and member of CE-Group, Triconti ECC Renewables in the Philippines has signed an agreement with one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, Iberdrola S.A. to develop and construct five offshore wind projects targeted to have 3.5 GW of capacity in total.
All projects have secured a Wind Energy Service Contract from the Philippines Department of Energy and would be jointly developed by the companies.
The projects are located in Aparri Bay in Cagayan, Frontera Bay in Cavite, San Miguel Bay in Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur, and two in Guimaras Strait between Negros and Panay islands.
It is anticipated to have the first projects operational by 2026.
